Today is the day!!
All the preps and coordinations is falling into place nicely!

Auntie Gina almost couldnt make it due to her 'runny nose' Actually she is lying, coz we caught her rushing off to play MJ. She won the title for giving the most ridiculous present tho. =p
Looking radiant here with ning and this is an accidental shot taken with my hp which resulted in auntie Gina's blurry face. Overall, i still think its a good photo coz it captured their happy faces.

The pile of presents and angbaos we got.
She got so little presents!! I wished there were more shopping vouchers given, as vouchers are meant to be spent, which means I can go wild and shop for her things w/o feeling the guilt! However, most of my guests are practical ppl and they choose to give angbao instead. Angbao = money, money = save into the bank. Of coz we can choose not to put it in, but since the cash is given to her, its more logical to save it up. =/
The most ridiculous gift is lying somewhere near the angbaos... see it?
Its a cheque from auntie Gina!!! Hahahah. Next time dun fill in the numbers can? I can do so for you! =p


She refused to sleep after the party and KO on the way home from dinner.

It is a stunning sculpture that got every talking abt it. However, dunno which mean freak at the party twisted the head side ways. I only realised it looked abit obscene when I admired it again at night. That is the hand by the way.
2 extra 18" elmo floating around for 2 of my little guests that fell sick and couldnt come. =(

Happy 1 year old Sweetpea!!!

I crept up to our bed where she is, and snuggled myself next to her.
It was slightly pass midnight.
I could smell her lovely baby scent(dried up salty smell of her saliva) when I went near her cheeks, and I planted a kiss softly on it and wished her a happy birthday.
It was quite an emotional moment as images of me being wheeled into the delivery suite, hearing her 1st cries n holding her in my arms rushes by. I look at her sweet angelic face and think all those sleepless nights and crappy days are all worth it. I would go thru all this hardships for her all over again if there is a need to.





Happy birthday ning. You are finally 1! The moment I have been waiting for, is finally here!
You are finally 'secured' to the earth, according to chinese myth, and most importantly, we can put away the bottles sterilizer!
We love you sweetpea!
