Its a horrible place to be in, the sale, I mean. So many ppl! And all the aunties and ah ma seated all over the floor with their big big bags of goodies strewn everywhere! The clothes are in a mess, the place is in a mess! Regretted going down, but still managed to spend $36.

Its funny her hair still stands up after she wakey. Why lidat? Someone commented again that, she looks like those dolls, which you can water and grass will grow from its head.

New toys!

Went crazy at a sale today and got all this toys for her! I was so excited and told daddyhan I want this, this, this and that. He wasnt any better coz he wandered off and browsed n browsed n browsed! Were abt to go off and he made a last round and picked up somemore!
Went home feeling extremely happy and high from the shopping spree. During lunch, ning babbled 'bababababa', and daddyhan was delighted. Its not the 1st time she babbled that, so I told daddyhan that its okay, she can call him bababa a thousand times also nvm, since he got her so much toys today. Soon after, I thought I heard her babble 'mama'! I was so shocked and happy, and kept laffing! Daddyhan cfmed that she did say mama, and it made me even happier! Her 1st 'MAMA'! A happy day for all of us!

Little Miss Early Bird

I do not know whats up with her, for shes been waking up earlier n earlier each day.
She normally wakes up at around 9am, and been waking up at 830am of late. Fine, 830am or 9am not too much of a diff.
Slowly it went to 8am.
Then 7 plus plus am.
Then 7 am
Sunday morning it was 651am.
This morning, it was 451am!!!!!!!!!!!

What is wrong? Each time, she is wide awake and on her tummy, playing with her toys when I popped over to her room.
Are those signs of teething?

Little Miss Piranha

Ning is gg to teeth soon..I think. Shes been giving me the nibbles of late and they HURTS! Been tapping her cheeks and telling her NO NO NO everytime she does that to no avail. Just today, I unlatched her in the midst of a feed by pulling down her chin sharply, and she let out the most most most pitiful cry.
Sigh. As if I was in the wrong, and I had to pacify pacify pacify, when it was my nipple that she bit on.

Furby

This is supposed to be a baby blog, but we just had to post it.
A dear frd's darling pooch is sick, and her darling is as precious as her own baby. We hope that by posting a star here, furby will have that star, and the many other stars posted all over the www to illuminate her darkness.

Beco 4th Generation

Finally got my hands on a Beco!!! It is tons better than the classic baby bjorn, for my body can no longer take her weight with that. Beco distributed her weight all on my hips instead of my shoulders and I love it! Only thing that is lacking is the carrier cant carry baby in front facing hold like the Bjorn. Have mastered all the different ways of carrying it and Im so proud of myself!

I suspect ning's 1st word will be papa instead of mama. Few days back, she was crying n went 'buubuubuuuuuuubuubuuuu'.
Today, while playing with her current favorite toy- baby tad, she went 'bubububuBU!'
Soon, buubuubuubuu will become papapapa.

Belly to back!

We were lazing around in bed yesterday and she flipped over on her stomach as usual and gave me that cheeky grin of hers. Then before I could lean nearer to 'munch' her cheeks, she rolled back! I tot it was quite a coincidence, so I made her lie on her stomach again.... and she flashed that signature grin of hers n rolled back!
Wow! New milestone!
She can now roll from back to belly, belly to back, and she keeps doing it! No more worries of her turning over at night n cant turn back!

6 Months Old

My lil munchkin is 6 mths old! I said this many times and I just have to say it again, YOU ARE SO CUTEEE, BABY, AND I LOVE U TO BITS! Hehe. Its amazing how fast they grow! Thanks for staying healthy thru out this 6 mths and thank you for the $750 baby bonus! Haaha! Muack muack muack muack MUACK!!!

1st Swim!

Woke up to a beautiful morning and I had to dug daddyhan out of bed coz I wanna bring ning for a swim! Its now or never! Wakey wakey!
Such last min arrangement and we forgot to buy sunscreen, so off to Watson's we go!


Cant get any baby sunscreen. :(

I must say, this is quite a successful trip, considering the fact that it was so last min. Had wanted to bring her for a dip for the longest time but have been procrastinating all this while. So glad we did it! The condition at the public pool near our place isnt that bad after all. The kids there were a little pesky running around and splashing water, but it was still okay. I guess its the same in all public pools.
She was upset initially when we lowered her into the water but after some reassurance, hugs n kisses, she got bolder and started flip flapping her hands and kick around! She was so sleepy that she doze off while changing her. A really fun trip for all of us! Will definitely go back soon.

Big girl in high chair

Daddyhan had been bz with his exhibition for the past few days and did not spend much time with us. Today, after wrapping up his crazy schedule at the expo, he brought us out for shopping and dinner at Causeway Point!
Ning was fussing during dinner as usual, and wanted to baobao. Decided to let her sit in the high chair(Im normally anal abt letting her sit in one, coz they are full of germs!) provided and she is a happy camper once again!


First time in a restuarant high chair and absolutely loving it!

Popeye

Spinach, the fav food of Popeye's, is one of my fav food as well. When I was pregnant with ning, I wolfed down spinach in copious amt. So when it comes to feeding my daughter, of coz I choose to feed her one of the most nutritious veg around. She hates it on the initial try and spat it out promptly after I spooned it into her mouth. Good thing, she has grown to accept it better than broccoli.


Holey guacamole! What are you putting into my mouth again, mama???!!!

Learning to sit

She can now sit up unsupported for a min or so, like the pic below. Cant wait for the day when she can sit up all by herself! Then no nid to carry all the time anymore!

Sakae Sushi once more!

After the last positive dinning experience at Sakae Sushi, we decided to go back again! This time round, she was even happier than the last! She laughed alot, kick around and squealed many times in excitement!

Sakae Sushi

Dining out with ning is rather troublesome sometimes, coz she likes to FUSS exactly the moment our food arrives. Also dunno how come she is so smart to choose such a good timing and she does it pretty often. Gets really frustrating at times when I am reeeeaaaaally hungry, coz I'd have to pacify and carry her and try to eat with one hand. On top of that, its really tricky trying to maneuver her dua leng gong pram in crowded foodcourts or space contraint restaurants.

Went for sushi dinner today tho we know we cant push our pram in due to their booth seats arrangements. It was quite an eye opening experience for her, as she gets to oggle at those colorful plates of sushi moving slowly pass her. Good for us too, coz she was so facinated by those moving plates, she sat on my lap really still and we managed to enjoy our dinner slowly! All hail moving sushi plates!!
