4 Months old!

Happy 4th Mth Sweetie pie!
The many joys you bring to everyone around you, and the infectious laughters you shared. YOU ARE SO CUTE AND WE LOVE YOU SO! (but mummy loves you more than anyone else. heehe)



See how sad she looks? We were on the way to the pd clinic when this was taken. She seems to know whats going to happen to her later. Poor baby. 2 jabs and an oral vaccine again. Come one more month, it will all be over! Yay! She weighs 6.87kg n is 63cm long.

No fever this time round, coz I fed her paracetamol syrup after her milk. So far so good. So good to the extend that she demands to be in the jumperoo today! Had to pull her out so many times coz its reccommended not to let baby stay in it for too long at a stretch, and when that happens, she'll goes eh eh eh eh and starts thrashing her arms and looking in the direction of the jumperoo. Once she is in, she'll goes hae hae hae and starts jumping madly. Really wonder what vaccine she got today to make her so active and happy. I ve never seen her laugh so much and jumped so wildly like today. Quite hilarious to watch actually.

ps: Im at 51.1kg now, and still 3-4kg more to pre preg weight. Sigh. Its getting harder, especially when I seems to be getting hungry all the time.

My sweetie pie has been trying to turn lately, but always unsuccessful. Today was one of the days that she tried and with mummy's aid, which was juz by putting my hand behind her back, she managed to turn! Twice!
Cant wait for the day she will turn on her own, which I assume, will be soon.

We love weekends...

.....for weekends are gaigai days!
I always look forward to weekends, coz thats when we can dress her up and bring her out! I love showing off my baby. I enjoy being seen with her, I enjoy letting the world know Im a mummy. Most importantly, I love the fact that we are spending time as a family, and not juz a couple anymore. I beam with pride when ppl gushes abt how cute she is, and I snigger in glee when she refuses to let them carry her 'cept me(jus thinking abt it tickles me. Heeheehee). Im sure you mummies out there will nod in agreement. You all know what I mean.

Aralyn & daddyhan

Every wed, daddyhan will bring this little babe to work with him coz its the day our weekly help comes in to clean the hse. Its also a day when I get to rest from the 3hrly routine, tho not much is achieved due to all the vaccumming n wiping going on.
After seeing off the duo in the morning, it will only be awhile b4 I start missing my baby. And when that happens, I will sms daddyhan, to which he will reply promptly with a mms.



And its always the same old pose, taken in the lift at work.
I think its his way of making me jealous, that he is happy and having fun with the babe at work, while Im at home listening to the hummings of the vaccum cleaner.
I miss my baby. :(

Jumperoo!

Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo musical Excersaucer.
Saw this online and yearn for it immediately. I know that, if I like it, my baby will like it too. Show daddyhan a picture of it and he got all excited abt it as well. Finally got it at suntec Toys r Us after deciding btwn the other excersaucers and this. A normal excersaucer, in my opinion only allows the baby to turn around in her seat while exploring the stations. However, this jumperoo which is different from the other range of jumperoos, allows the baby to jump and still swivel 360 degree to explore all the play stations!
However, the deciding factor was made when we plonked her down in the display set and she immediately laughed!
So, the last piece of jumperoo followed us home.



I was so excited, I assembled it myself immediately when I got home. Even daddyhan was amazed at the speed I worked. Heres Aralyn sitting in her own jumperoo, looking abit lost.

ps: I hope this post doesnt tempt anymore mummies, as it seems, I have been tempting alot of ppl into buying the jumperoo. :p

Smiles like this melts my heart and perks up my tired weary soul. I suffer from 'Wanna-kiss-my-baby-to-death' snydrome when she does that. MUACCCCK!

Seeing daddyhan bathing the babe never fails to make my heart feel fuzzy & warm. And there is always so much ah-goos, squeals and talking going on in the bathroom, it makes me feel really jealous at times. Just the other day, daddyhan got a really pretty shot of the 2 of them together and he said he is going to put it up in his hp as wallpaper. What an idiot! To think we have been together for almost 10years and never once, did my picture made it into his phone as wallpaper! Its not fair!

ps: anyway, I never put his picture in my hp too. Ah well.

Trip to the Pd.

Finally, 3mths has passed, and our little baby is ready for her 1st vaccination. She was so happy in the morning and looks so bright and cheery, it made me felt so guilty that we are going to bring her pain & tears later.

She is 6.46kg now, and measuring 61.5cm long. Her head circum. is 39cm. Both weight and height is at the 75 percentile. That means still slightly overweight.

1st 5-in-1 shot injected and she only whined, for the pd was quick with his draw. Then came the next pneumococcal shot, and it was probably too much for her, and she cried so pitifully.



Sob sob. I can almost hear her say "mummy, pain pain!! Boohoohoo :("



Clinic assistant feeding her the rotavirus vaccine. "Sweet sweet, sweet sweet", she says. Guess it must be really sweet for Aralyn laps it up happily and stopped fussing.

She was alright after the jabs, and was playing happily in the evening. Wasnt expecting her to get a fever, for the pd said there is only a 5% chance of getting it.

And she was among that 5%.

Poor baby. Fever reached a high of 37.8 when I was waking her up for her last feed. To think I was still playing 2008 WWE on our new WII console with daddyhan before that. I shld have been more responsible and monitor her temperature hourly. Felt so lousy.

Rise and Shine!! Looking happy and well again this morning after her morning milk. Waking up at 5am to feed her paracetamol helps!

Aralyn & her BinkyBuddy!

This binkybuddy is useful in keeping her binky from falling out of her mouth, while you're driving and cant reach back to pop it back. Its useful to be used during pram rides as well!

3 Months Old

Not too long ago, I was hoping that she'll show me more of those toothless smile.
Now, at 3 mths old, not only does she flashes those cheeky grins often, she burst out into laughters too!

ps: daddyhan was so silly yesterday, coz when the clock striked 12, he tried to usher me into her bedroom, so that we can wish her 'happy new year'. Hahaha.

Baby Art

Have been planning to do this for the longest time, but time never seems to be enough. Finally, to mark the 1st day of the year, which happens to be her 3rd mth as well, we finally got down to it.

Now, for the hands.
We waited and try, and try and retry. Each time she'll try to grab the spongy clay. Just when we almost have that perfect print, she'll burst our bubble by squishing the clay again. Poor daddyhan, had to roll and knead and knead and roll, over and over again.


Silly gal, threw a tantrum and fell asleep after waiting too long. See, still can 偷笑, means not very angry lah!


Finally! Got a good hand print coz she was all sleepy and relax! Yay!


What a fun afternoon, tho the 2hr plus process was quite straining. Now, all we need to do is to wait for it to dry thoroughly and pop it into the photoframe! Watch this space!

Merry Xmas!

Christmas had never been more meaning and joyous than this year. Thank Lord for this little bundle of joy he gave us, my life had never been happier.

Babylegs

Wearing her Babylegs for the 1st time. Isnt she adorable in those? Got her 4 pairs of diff colors & design and I think there will be more to come! Im addicted to Babylegs! They are absolutely useful and convenient, not to mention, jazzes up any plain outfit!

Baby in Vivocity

We used to hate gg out during the weekends, for everywhere is jam packed with ppl. Not to mention the horrible wait to get into full carparks.
However, life changed(in everyway) with Aralyn. Now, we look forward to the weekends, so that we can bring her go gaigai! She have always been a good babe during outings(ONLY during outings), and hardly ever fuss. She'll sleep in the car, wakes up when we reach our destination and stay quiet, taking in all the sights thats exposed to her. She'll only starts fussing when its near her milk time.


Heres daddyhan burping baby after feeding her in public, while mummy was shopping in Zara. All around were grannys or maids feeding their tots. Daddyhan definitely stood out among the crowd. Best papa you are!

She sure gather tons of attns when we bring her out. Many ppl will stop in their tracks n gawk or whisper n point. Some will do a double take. Some will point n squeal 'so cuteeee'. Must be the hair. Or she looks too fat?

Hot babe

Aralyn's temp went up to a high of 37.4 degree today. To make things worse for a 1st timer mummy, she kept crying and fussing even after doing all the things that will normally soothe her or make her go to sleep with a snap of the fingers. She was hot and at times cold and broke out in cold sweat. When she cries, I cry. It was worrying and heart breaking.
She started fussing last night when I was out to attend a dinner. Daddyhan said she refuses to sleep after her milk feed. She could have been missing me, or either that, she was already unwell.
Brought her to a pd after daddyhan rushed home early. By then, she was back to normal. No more fever and was in the healthy 36ish range. Pd commented that she is heavy for her age(again!),"she is double than what she shld be". Now, at 10 weeks, she is 61cm long and 6.22kg. No wonder my back aches so much after carrying her! Even my right arm is sporting a lil bump!

Playgym

Thanks to uncle kuku Jef & auntie Meiling for the playgym which Aralyn is starting to enjoy. She used to cry when we place her on it, now she'll just stare at the toys hanging above and tries to bat them. However, there are still days when she will cry out of boredom tho.

I Can Give You Gatsby

Drunk On Milk!

She'll smile like this everytime after her morning feed. Makes me feel so appreciated for providing her yummy 'mummy's milk'.
Isnt it cute that when babies smile, their upper lip will curl outwards, making them so kissable n adorable. I love her sooooooo much!!!!!
